What You’ll be Doing

The Senior Operations Specialist is accountable for supporting and processing CIBC client requests, assisting in the resolution of operational deficiencies, compliance to policies and procedures for a specific or multiple product lines. This role requires gathering of data, analysis, lead and/or support as required to identify operational impacts and recommend solutions to management to be processed through client accounts. Incumbent may assume a level of responsibility participating projects as the Subject Matter Expert supporting project teams, communicating the status of initiatives to the management team and business partners.

How You'll Succeed

  • Analysis - Research and analyze data, make recommendations to management to improve reconciliation efficiency. Weekly reporting to management on volumes and outstanding issues.
  • Communication - Effective communication skills to liaise with multiple departments and business partners. Communicate daily with multiple departments outlining account breaks in detail and tracking the solution and fix.
  • Teamwork - Work with management to support and assist in the resolution of issues to maximize operational efficiencies and ensure compliance to policies and procedures for a specific or multiple product line.
  • Documentation - Document findings of research, analysis, and calculations for use by others (e.g., work packages for area of responsibility, reports, conclusions and recommendations to others)
  • Knowledge of Products - Keep informed of all relevant CIBC products and services by consistently updating products, procedural and technological knowledge, and all upgrades within area of responsibility.
