We are looking for an experienced Lead Software Engineer to spearhead one of our Agile teams in developing cutting-edge FinTech software. Our environment is completely built and hosted on Azure Cloud.  You will work with Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, C#, .NET Core, .NET Framework, Azure API Gateway, SQL Server, Angular, and many other technologies.  There are opportunities to improve existing software and new development initiatives every quarter.  Our developers are truly full stack and touch everything from the database to the front end to dev-ops.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience with a track record in technical leadership.
  • 2+ Mentoring other developers and leading Scrum teams.
  • Mastery in writing well-designed, testable, and efficient code.
  • Leading and overseeing the integration of external APIs to enhance our core platform.
  • Participate in daily standups and Agile Ceremonies
  • Conducting and overseeing code reviews, ensuring adherence to best practices.

What you should have:

  • Significant C# experience
  • Significant .NET Core microservices development experience 
  • Thorough understanding of SOLID principles, especially IOC and SRP
  • Expertise with automated unit and integration testing
  • SQL expertise
  • Entity Framework expertise
  • Solid command of HTML, CSS and JavaScript and preferably Angular 
  • In depth knowledge of relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, Postgres, etc.)
  • Extensive experience with Git
  • Work well with a remote distributed team
  • Excellent communication and team leadership skills

What we would love you to have:

  • Proven experience in leading full-stack project development from inception to deployment
  • Experience in a distributed environment
  • SQL Reporting Experience (Raw Queries, SSRS, Power BI, etc.)
  • Knowledge of N-Layer application architecture, exception handling, and logging
  • Cloud development experience (especially Azure)
  • Communication Protocol experience (REST, lightweight messaging, WCF, etc.)
  • Modern UI Framework experience (Angular, React, Vue, TypeScript) preferably Angular
  • DevOps experience
  • NoSQL experience
  • Salesforce Exposure
