KH057 - Part-Time to Full-Time Nanny Live-Out Nanny - Boston, MA

Overview:

A wonderful, loving family in Boston, MA is seeking a part-time to full-time live-out career nanny for their infant who will be 3 months old at the start of the position. The position will begin in January. To start, the schedule will be Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 10am-4pm and Saturday nights 7pm-1am (the evening will not always end that late but you will be guaranteed the 6 hours each Saturday). Hours will increase to full-time. The family is looking for a nanny who will hopefully stay with them for years and become part of their family. 

• Full childcare including providing a warm and loving environment for a happy baby boy and coordinating schedules for naps, meals, and activities
• Eventual transportation to activities, play dates, and outings 
• Baby dishes including washing and sanitizing bottles and helping with child-related meal preparation as he gets older
• Managing the tidiness and organization of the child's spaces and belongings 
• Child-related laundry 

• Warm and nurturing personality
• Trustworthy, good common sense, and safety conscious
• The parents are active and involved, so you must know when to fade in and out of the background while staying busy.
• Pitch-in attitude and a proactive and positive personality
• Excited to work with the infant and toddler age, know ages and stages and what developmental milestones are coming next
• Second language would be nice to have but not required 

• Driver’s license and clean driving record for eventual driving at their summer home; minimal driving in Boston (nanny car provided on duty)
• Open and interested in traveling with the family during the summer and 1-2 trips during the year 
• 5+ years infant and toddler experience in a private home as a nanny
• Local to the Boston, MA area and commuting distance from the South End neighborhood 
• Comfortable going up and down stairs throughout the day as the home is multi-level
• Professional/career nanny who knows how to maintain boundaries and able to navigate work from home parents 
• Tech savvy (baby connect, calendar, etc.) and strong communication skills 
• Infant/child CPR and First-Aid certifications (or be willing to update them ASAP)
• Legal to work in the US
• Confident swimming skills
• No cat allergies as their is a cat in the home

$30-40 per hour plus standard benefits
