ROLE OVERVIEW
The Contract Administrator, EPCM is responsible for assisting the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management (EPCM) department with all aspects of the construction contracting process. This position will work closely with Preconstruction, Project Managers, Legal, Finance, and other internal departments to initiate, execute, and manage the construction contracts. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and adaptability to changing demands are paramount to this position.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESCoordinate, organize, and assemble EPC contracts in coordination with Project Managers, Pre- Construction and LegalPopulate EPC contracts using legal formsProcess contracts through review and execution with internal and external partiesManage internal project contracts and deliverables for financial reportingMaintain a streamlined contract review process to ensure reviews are performed in a timely manner.Report contract status on a weekly basis to ensure compliance with construction financing requirementsTrack and report contract completion metrics and the status of pending contracts.Collect and manage contract Lessons Learned for continuous improvement processesEvaluate and propose improvements to the contract administration process when needed.Coordinate with Project Managers to maintain contract project documentation using approved Project Management processesAssist Legal, Finance, and EPCM with modification to contract templatesManage a Change Order process for executed contractsAssist in the review of bonds, lien waivers, and COI for compliance with legal and finance requirementsREQUIRED COMPETENCIESMinimum two (2) years in contract management and administration or related experienceKnowledge of construction contracts, contract law, and relevant regulations and industry standardsKnowledge of project management tools and processesKnowledge of budgets, billing, and accounting Strong working knowledge of spreadsheets, word processing, and scheduling softwareHighly organized, detail-orientedExcellent project management and organizational skills.Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline-driven environment managing multiple deadlines for different transactions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.PREFERRED COMPETENCIESBachelor's degree in a relevant fieldExperience reviewing legal documentsExperience in the solar construction or renewable energy industry
