Responsibilities: 

  • Manage a team of front end Angular Engineers

  • Manage and guide the development of large-scale, complex Angular applications within a monorepo structure 

  • Oversee the implementation of high-performance, reusable, and maintainable Angular code using best practices and design patterns 

  • Lead the architecture and development of single-page applications (SPAs) using Angular framework 

  • Ensure adherence to OWASP Top 10 security best practices across all Angular projects 

  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement accessible features using ARIA standards and ensure HTML5 compliance 

  • Drive performance optimization in Angular applications, including change detection strategies and lazy loading 

  • Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, integration, and deployment of Angular projects 

  • Provide expert-level support for production Angular systems, resolving issues to maintain high availability 

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Angular component library and design system 

  • Mentor and guide junior Angular developers, fostering best practices and architectural patterns 

  • Oversee the implementation of state management solutions using NgRx or similar libraries 

  • Ensure effective use of RxJS for reactive programming throughout Angular applications 

 

Qualifications: 

  • At least 2 years of experience directly managing Engineering Teams

  • Strong knowledge of Angular (version 9+), TypeScript, and modern web technologies 

  • Experience with Angular-specific tools and libraries, such as Angular CLI, RxJS, and NgRx 

  • Expertise in Angular performance optimization techniques and best practices 

  • Understanding of web accessibility standards and security principles in the context of Angular applications 

  • Proficiency in unit testing frameworks like Jest, Jasmine, and Karma 

  • Experience with build automation tools and Angular CLI 

  • Proven experience in cloud deployment and managing large-scale Angular applications 

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to lead and mentor development teams 

  • Strong understanding of Angular's dependency injection system and component architecture 

 

Bonus points: 

  • Experience with server-side technologies and APIs 

  • Familiarity with micro-frontends architecture in Angular 

  • Knowledge of Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) development with Angular 

  • Experience with other front-end frameworks like React or Vue.js 

  • Familiarity with WordPress blocks
