As a Copywriter at biBerk, you will be a key player on the team responsible for telling the world (and company) about our brand. This role serves as an advocate for our brand positioning and how it is represented across our lines of business and marketing channels. We want you to be excited about embodying our brand values and ensuring that all content aligns with the organization's overarching vision and mission!
This role works directly with team members and programs to steward our reputation management, content marketing, and partner marketing. You are a good fit for this role if you are passionate about writing and storytelling with a deep curiosity about the small business insurance industry and what drives small business audiences to engage with insurance content and solutions.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Own copywriting marketing strategy for biBerk, stewarding the brand tone and voice while ensuring integrated execution across channels.
- Build and maintain the content calendar informed by research into search volume, topics of interest, audience insights and our own paid media strategies.
- Gather and incorporate information from various sources including key division owners to accurately and effectively write about a topic or product.
- Work with SEO (Search Engine Optimization) vendor to ensure on site content is SEO friendly in partnership with SEO/SEM Strategist.
- Produce compelling and clear copy for a variety of marketing and advertising channels.
- Ability to rework content based on feedback from key division owners.
- Demonstrate a core understanding of our customer base, conversion funnels, and growth strategies.

Education and Experience:
BS/BA in Marketing, Advertising, Business, Management, related digital degree, or equivalent working experience.
5+ years related copywriting experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Sitting - Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

In accordance with pay transparency laws and regulations, the following good faith compensation range estimate is being provided. The pay rate for this position is $45/hr. Final compensation will be based on candidate qualifications, geographic location, and other considerations permitted by law.
