About The Role
Veralto is seeking a Benefits Specialist, Americas, HR Shared Services, to contribute to the mission of the Shared Services team, which is to deliver the best associate experience and enable our HR teams and associates to focus on the highest-value work through operational excellence, technology and analytics.
This role has the flexibility to be fully remote in the USA or Canada

In this role, a typical day will look like:
- Be responsible for administering day-to-day health and welfare benefit plans as defined by the Total Rewards Center of Excellence (CoE)
- Process and monitor leaves for associates, ensuring they receive the correct pay, have accurate and current dates in Workday and act as a liaison between the associate and the leave provider, ensuring a high-quality experience for the associate
- Monitor integration/feed files to third-party providers and resolve errors
- Audit benefit files for completeness and accuracy
- Produce regulatory reports
- Ensure compliance with state, country and regional regulations, including Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)
- Act as a back up to the Global Mobility Specialist
- Collaborate with the HR Community, Legal, LER and outside agencies to keep up-to-date on the latest regulations and changes
- Communicate regulation changes to the Shared Service Delivery Teams
- Partner with the Knowledge and Quality Lead to ensure the knowledge database is current and accurate related to Benefits administration
- Coordinate and process medical accommodation requests in compliance with ADA guidelines, ensuring timely and effective communication with associates, managers, and HR representatives to facilitate necessary adjustments and support
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 2-5 years in an HR, Customer Service or Shared Services roles
- Experience in benefit administration or leave processing
- Knowledge of HRIS, preferably Workday
- Empathetic mindset
- Knowledge of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
- Knowledge of state and providence disability laws for North America
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is essential
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
- Experience processing ADA accommodation requests
- Certification in leaves or benefits.
- Medical or government field experience
- Experience with Case Management or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
The compensation range for this role is $65,000 - $82,000 USD per year. This job is also eligible for Bonus Pay.
