Candidates willing to commute and work out of our downtown Phoenix, AZ office (3-day/week hybrid schedule) are preferred, though we are accepting resumes from candidates working remotely throughout the US.

Position Summary
As the Vice President of Partnerships, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive partnership strategy that aligns with Virtuous's growth goals. You will report directly to the CRO as you work to accelerate pipeline creation, support the go-to-market and CX teams, increase market awareness, and influence our product integration roadmap. Your responsibilities will include supporting a diverse set of software partners, nonprofit fundraising consultants, service providers, agencies, and system implementation partners. Your team will include a talented group of partner relationship builders with strong nonprofit experience.

Responsibilities
  • Strategy Development: Create and implement a strategic plan for building and managing partnerships that grow Virtuous's subscription revenue and market reach.

  • Partnership Growth: Identify, negotiate, and establish partnerships with key players in the nonprofit sector, including other SaaS providers, fundraising consultants, agencies and service providers.

  • Relationship Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing partners to drive engagement, collaboration, and mutual success.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the sales, marketing, CX and product teams to align partnership initiatives with business objectives and ensure effective execution.

  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify trends and potential partnership opportunities, staying informed about the competitive landscape.

  • Performance Metrics: Establish clear KPIs to measure the success of partnerships and continuously optimize strategies based on data-driven insights.

  • Thought Leadership: Represent Virtuous at industry conferences and events, sharing insights on partnerships and the nonprofit technology landscape.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and grow a high-performing partnerships team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

  • In Person Partner Visits: Travel in market 40% to drive in person partner awareness, QBRs and in person events to drive pipeline.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field

  • 8+ years of experience in partnership management, business development, or a related role, preferably within the SaaS or nonprofit sector.

  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and managing partnerships that drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.

  • Experience leading and mentoring teams to achieve ambitious goals.
