About the Role:
Brightline brings virtual behavioral and mental health care to families, when and where you need it. We are seeking a Senior Director, Strategy & Operations. This role will have a direct impact on the future trajectory of Brightline. You will not only guide key strategic initiatives but also play a pivotal role in shaping an operational foundation critical to the success of our business and the delivery of care for our members.

Strategic Leadership and Execution:
Lead the design and execution of 0-1 strategic initiatives that drive business objectives and scale Brightline’s operational capacity.
Collaborate with the executive team to develop business plans, key performance indicators (KPIs), and objectives that align with company goals and growth ambitions.
Use market insights and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for expansion, including the development of new service offerings and entry into new markets.
Operational Excellence:
Build, manage, and optimize operational work plans that ensure efficiency, scalability, and high-quality service delivery across all touchpoints.
Work cross-functionally with teams including product, engineering, data science and clinical operations to build systems and processes that enable us to meet ambitious goals.
Ensure continuous improvement of operations through data-driven decision-making, proactive problem-solving, and the introduction of innovative, scalable solutions.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Serve as a critical connector across Brightline’s teams to ensure alignment and execution of strategic priorities.
Partner with product, engineering, clinical, and customer experience teams to build, implement, and refine scalable products and processes that address core business challenges.
Collaborate closely with finance and growth teams to manage resources, optimize budgeting, and ensure operational efficiencies that support sustained growth.
Data-Driven Decision Making:
Analyze key operational data to develop strategies that accelerate progress, identify areas for improvement, and enhance operational effectiveness.
Use data to set priorities, monitor progress, and assess the success of initiatives, ensuring that operations run smoothly and deliver measurable outcomes.
Drive operational insights and continuous feedback loops to ensure agility and responsiveness to changing market dynamics.
Why We Are Excited About You:
10+ years of experience in business operations or strategic leadership roles, preferably in high-growth companies.
Proven ability to lead within a complex and fast-moving environment, balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution.
Strong data acumen, you thrive on solving ambiguous problems by digging into data to uncover insights and inform decisions.
Track record of building and scaling operational processes, ideally within the healthcare, technology, or digital health sectors.
Exceptional communication skills and experience leading cross-functional teams toward a common goal.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with a calm, results-driven approach in high-stakes environments.
Previous experience managing a team, and managing projects across multiple departments and teams.
A passion for improving healthcare outcomes through innovative digital solutions and a strong alignment with Brightline’s mission to support families' mental health.

At Brightline we have built a total rewards philosophy that includes fair, equitable, competitive, geo-based compensation that is performance and potential based. Our strategy is based on robust market research, including external advisory specializing in national compensation, and thoughtful input from every level of our organization. It is a combination of a cash salary, equity, benefits, wellbeing, and opportunity. In compliance with the Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the annual base salary range for applicants is $140,000-$220,000.
