In this role, you’ll play a key part in administering our benefits, wellness, and leave programs, providing valuable support to help our employees succeed.

This role is remote-eligible in the US and will report to the Senior Manager of Benefits (Americas) located on the US West Coast.

You will:

  • Lead the leave programs for the Americas (US and Costa Rica) including, but not limited to, internal consulting resource to HR and employees, managing company policies and programs; coordinating internal disability benefits with our third party vendor, and applicable statutory leaves 
  • Support the benefits programs for the Americas including but not limited to administering our health and insurance offerings, retirement programs, and compliance filings
  • Manage employee inquiries regarding policies, escalations, and general questions while providing a positive customer service experience
  • Perform frequent audits of benefits-related data, identifying process breakdowns and ensure the accuracy of the HRIS (Workday) and other vendor systems
  • Support relationships with vendors and brokers, including new and existing service agreements in partnership with internal Procurement and Legal teams
  • Deliver exceptional project management support for annual benefit activities such as open enrollment, renewals, and plan audits; as well as cross functional programs 
  • Analyze market trends and compare to our current offerings to ensure we remain competitive
  • Partner with HR Operations, Payroll, and People Analytics teams ensuring administration and resource education is delivered on-time and consistently

You have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or equivalent years of relatable Human Resources experience 
  • 3+ years of comparable benefit and/or leave experience 
  • Experience using Google for Work, Smartsheet, and Workday preferred
  • Experience with global benefits is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy for excellent organization of audits and overall data management
  • Experience working on confidential programs with access to sensitive information
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills, including formal presentations to different levels of leadership
  • Capacity to be flexible and adapt quickly to shifting priorities as well as experience working cross functionally and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and apply analytical and problem solving skills to deliver excellent results

Smartsheet provides a competitive base salary range for roles that may be hired in different geographic areas we are licensed to operate our business from. Actual compensation is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, level of professional, educational experience, skills, and specific candidate location. In addition, this role will be eligible for a market competitive incentive opportunity and some roles may be eligible for a RSU stock grant upon accepted offer. 

US Pay Range
$72,500$98,750 USD
