About the Role

A growing hospitality group in Austin, Texas, is seeking a mid-level brand designer to develop a comprehensive brand identity for their newest establishment. The project involves creating a distinctive visual presence for an East Austin bar concept that reflects the neighbourhood's character while aligning with the parent company's existing portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a compelling brand story and visual identity system
  • Create a distinctive logo and supporting design elements
  • Design brand guidelines documentation
  • Generate versatile logo variations for different applications
  • Design basic collateral materials (business cards, letterhead, etc.)
  • Provide digital asset files in various formats

Requirements

  • Strong portfolio featuring hospitality/F&B brand work
  • Proven experience in logo design and brand development
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Understanding of both print and digital design requirements
  • Knowledge of current design trends in the hospitality industry
  • Strong typography and color theory skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities
