Control Systems Engineer (Rockwell and Schneider PLC programming)

Location: New Zealand (requires travel within New Zealand and with potential for international travel)

Reports To: Group Manager – Projects or Group Manager - Services

About the Role:

Are you an experienced Control System Engineer with expertise in Rockwell and Schneider PLC programming? Do you have hands-on experience with WW InTouch, Systems Platform, Ignition, RA FTView, or GE IFIX HMI? If so, we want you to join our dynamic team!

As a Systems Engineer, you will be pivotal in implementing and supporting automation and integration projects. You will stay at the forefront of technology, applying new systems and techniques to enhance our projects. This role requires a strong understanding of MES, industrial networking, and experience across various industries such as Dairy, Food and Beverage, Water, and general manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently implement and support automation and integration projects.
• Keep abreast of new technologies and integrate them into our projects.
• Assist in securing and managing projects within budget constraints.
• Provide design and costing details for project contracts.
• Travel within New Zealand and potentially internationally as required.
• Manage assigned projects to ensure timely completion and client satisfaction.
• Provide quality service, adhering to safety and operational procedures.
• Mentor and train less experienced staff, fostering knowledge transfer.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers.

Requirements

• Expertise in Rockwell and Schneider PLC programming.
• Experience with WW InTouch, Systems Platform, Ignition, RA FTView, or GE IFIX HMI.
• Background in Dairy, Food and Beverage, Water (Waste and Treated), or general manufacturing industries.
• Strong understanding of MES and industrial networking.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
• Willingness to travel within New Zealand and internationally.
