  • This position pays between $18.15 - $19.40/hr based on experience


Practice Optimization Specialist perform operational activities to include inputting accurate registration information and correction of registration-related errors. Specialists access work typically through work queues or worklists with the client EHR. Specialists assess errors and provide insights regarding trends and root causes.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Input data for physician billing accounts adhering to billing and compliance standards.
  • Identify and resolve account errors, which may include registration errors, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of accounts.
  • Ensure efficient completion of assigned tasks and projects.
  • Identify and document process improvements to enhance productivity and increase revenue.
  • Effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to maximize productivity.
  • Maintain high-quality standards while achieving productivity goals.
  • Provide support to colleagues to foster a positive work environment.
  • Consistently adheres to all department policies and procedures.
  • Ability to master a variety of complex EHR systems while adhering to productivity goals.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with other revenue cycle teams to address and resolve issues while delivering a high level, personalized service within the defined team scope.
  • Engage and cultivate a positive workplace atmosphere while building strong relationships.

  • Ability to perform critical thinking in-depth analysis of root cause of an issue and identify efficient and effective solutions.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft programs including Word and Excel.
  • Ability to adjust quickly and seamlessly to abrupt change.
