Role Overview

The Global Process Architect (GPA) is responsible for the governance and proactive development and enhancement of an end-to-end process across the enterprise. The GPA specializes in driving Syneos value through process oversight, improvement and integration to ensure consistent and successful delivery services. The GPA must collaborate with business leaders, COEs, sub-process owners, stakeholders and peer process owners to leverage strategic and forward-thinking insights for efficiency, effectiveness and employee experience for an end-to-end process and experience. The GPA will ensure strategic thinking and collaboration to evolve process, data, technology, policy etc. across the organization. The GPA role straddles strategy and service delivery, managing competing initiating and gaining alignment from key stakeholders across the organization.

Lead Responsibilities-

  • Establish, own and communicate a clear vision for the end-to-end process, along with data, policy and technology across the operating model while also keeping in mind a future oriented lens
  • Review end-to-end process performance and provide governance for process adoption and business demand
  • Drive global deployment and adoption of end-to-end process, with regional and local customization as required
  • Develop prioritized pipeline of process and capability improvements; build business cases to quantify cost and value of process opportunities
  • Anticipate needs, assess and manage business risk taking; escalate issues that may impact their end-to-end process globally; manage through times of crisis and ambiguity
  • Develop and maintain governance frameworks to monitor process adherence and integrity across all regions
  • Stay up-to-date on process trends and leading practices occurring in the marketplace to inform strategic direction and process enhancement

Stakeholder Management Responsibilities-

  • Collaborate with corporate functions across the board to ensure any required changes to policies, procedures, and processes are implemented and keep in mind employee experience
  • Collaborate with data owners/stewards to align on process and data issues
  • Communicate effectively as a spokesperson and leader for the end-to-end HR process
  • Work in conjunction with the performance management team to develop and operationalize any applicable reporting and analytics to measure the efficacy and efficiency of their process

People Responsibilities-

  • Create a high-performance operating culture throughout the organization
  • Build and maintain relationships at all levels throughout the organization
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration at all levels of the organization
  • Act as a key stakeholder to foster a business-oriented culture; continuously monitor the needs of the business

Qualifications

Requirements -

  • Possess a deep process management expertise with an in-depth understanding of end-to-end processes, process design, optimization, and governance methodologies
  • Knowledge of leading practices, external trends, principles, and methods in GPO programs
  • Advocate and influence individual organizational behavior changes
  • Experience in process advisory, continuous improvement, and global service delivery guidance /support
  • Understanding of regulatory requirements and internal policies to ensure processes comply with standards, regulations and Syneos policies
  • Sensitivity to cultural differences and the ability to work effectively in a global, multicultural environment, understanding diverse perspectives and adapting strategies accordingly
  • Ability to align process objectives with overall business strategy
  • Leadership ability to lead teams, drive change, and foster culture of continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be able to collaborate and convey complex ideas to stakeholders
  • Education and sustainability of global operations teams
