About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Operations Specialist to join our team for a 4-month contract. This role will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient order fulfillment, and optimizing vendor operations to deliver a seamless customer experience. You will collaborate with various teams—merchandising, logistics, and customer service—to monitor order flow, troubleshoot issues, and help implement and maintain best practices in dropship fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
- Vendor Relationship Management: Assist with maintaining strong relationships with our vendors, ensuring clear communication and timely resolution of any operational issues or discrepancies related to order management.
- Order Monitoring & Fulfillment: Oversee the order fulfillment process from vendor receipt to shipping, ensuring all orders are processed accurately and on time.
- Operational Coordination: Collaborate with the external vendors and internal customer service teams to monitor the flow of orders and troubleshoot any fulfillment issues.
- Issue Resolution: Quickly identify and resolve any operational issues related to dropship orders, including delays, inventory discrepancies, or damaged goods, ensuring minimal disruption to customers.
- Return Coordination with 3PL: Manage the return process in collaboration with our 3PL, ensuring that returned items are properly documented, processed, and restocked in a timely manner. Work closely with the 3PL to resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise with returned products.

- Timely and accurate order fulfillment with minimal errors or delays.
- Improved vendor performance and streamlined dropship processes.
- Effective resolution of operational issues and proactive problem-solving.
- Consistent communication with vendors, 3PL and internal teams to ensure a smooth operational workflow.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience in E-Commerce Operations: Proven experience in e-commerce operations, supply chain management, or dropshipping, with a focus on vendor coordination and fulfillment processes.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills to keep track of orders, inventory, and communication across multiple vendors.
- Problem-Solving & Critical Thinking: Ability to quickly identify and resolve operational challenges, especially related to dropship order fulfillment and vendor coordination.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal teams and external vendors.
- Self-Starter: Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Experience with e-commerce platforms, order management systems (OMS), and basic spreadsheet tools (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)
COMPENSATION: $25/hr for 16 weeks.
