Job description

Social Media Intern (Unpaid, For School Credit Only)

Location: Brew Dr. Kombucha, Tualatin, OR

Who We Are:
Brew Dr. Kombucha is all about raw, real, and unpasteurized kombucha with no artificial nonsense—just the good stuff! As a certified B Corp, we believe in doing business responsibly, and we’re growing our digital team. We’re looking for a passionate, social-savvy intern to join us in our journey to keep Brew Dr. top of mind and connect with fans in fresh, creative ways.

Position Overview:
Starting in January and wrapping up in June 2025, our Social Media Intern will bring big ideas and loads of energy to our Tualatin brewery. You’ll work closely with our marketing team, lending a hand with everything from influencer outreach to TikTok trends. This is an unpaid internship for school credit only, but if you’re looking to gain real experience in social media marketing, this role will have you creating, learning, and drinking plenty of kombucha along the way.

What You’ll Do:

  • Instagram & TikTok Content: Make engaging content (memes, quotes, reposts) that fits the Brew Dr. style, brainstorm Instagram Story ideas (think “This or That” polls, giveaways, etc.), and help us create viral TikTok videos that showcase our brand personality.

  • Event & Photoshoot Assistance: Jump in on photoshoots, capturing behind-the-scenes videos and creating fresh content for social.

  • Content Creation: Create LinkedIn posts, newsletters, and updates for our website that grab attention and keep followers engaged.

  • Influencer Outreach: Help us find the perfect influencers to share Brew Dr.’s vibe. You’ll research, reach out, and build relationships with influencers who align with our brand.

  • Community Engagement: Connect with our ambassadors and other partners—showcasing their content and helping build these relationships.

  • Scheduling: Schedule approved content on Sprout, keeping our feeds full and fresh.

  • Campaign Support: Assist with brainstorming, researching, and executing campaigns to boost our presence online.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in Writing & Content Creation: You’re comfortable with words and visuals and know how to create content that resonates.

  • Social media savvy: Knowledge of social media branded accounts, platforms, and trends.

  • Availability: Two weekdays (Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM) to work onsite at our Tualatin brewery for 10-12 hours a week.

  • Student Status: You’re a junior or senior currently enrolled in an accredited college or university and eligible for school credit for this internship.

  • Reliable Transportation: You have a car and can reliably get to our Tualatin location.

  • Tech Skills: Familiarity with tools like Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, or Canva is a plus but not required.

Perks:

  • Free Brew Dr. Kombucha, of course!

  • Hands-on experience in social media strategy, influencer marketing, and content creation.

  • A fun, welcoming team environment in a company dedicated to making a positive impact.

Please Note: This unpaid internship is for school credit only and is NOT a remote role.

How to Apply: If you’re passionate about kombucha, social media, and being part of a forward-thinking brand, we’d love to hear from you. Please submit your resume, a brief note on why you’re excited to join Brew Dr., and any relevant social media handles or examples of your work.
