The role:

You'll join our collaborative mobile development team working on building and enhancing our native iOS App using modern technologies like Swift and SwiftUI. The current team includes two senior iOS developers in Montreal, which is becoming part of our broader mobile team that includes Android developers in Portugal and Brazil. We're bringing these teams closer together, creating an environment where developers can learn from each other and build exceptional experiences for our users.

What you'll be doing: 

• Build and ship new features for our iOS App using SwiftUI across all our consumer brands.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Designers, and Software Engineers, both in the Mobile App team and in other teams across the globe, to deliver high-quality products on iOS.
• Follow data-driven approaches to conduct experiments and iterate features.
• Find and address areas of improvement to make our App best in class.
• Conduct design and code reviews.
• Implement appropriate test coverage, automation, monitoring, and rollout plans.
• Balance scope and deadlines to deliver on quality and speed.

• Experience developing native iOS Apps, ideally currently available on the App Store.
• A solid understanding of iOS design patterns and best practices, Swift and SwiftUI. Familiarity with Objective-C to help retire legacy code is a bonus.
• Experience with unit and UI testing frameworks.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Native or near-native fluency in written and spoken English and Portuguese.
• Passion and growth mindset: you love what you do and are always keen to learn new things.
• BONUS: Personal projects on Github, the App Store or elsewhere that show an aptitude for technical excellence and product sense on mobile.
