Please Note: This position requires a specific schedule commitment. Only apply if you would be interested in the following hours: Wednesday to Friday, 10 AM to 7 PM with a lunch break, and Saturday and Sunday, 9 AM to 5 PM, Denver time.

Job Summary:


The overall goal of the Resident Resource and Communications Specialist is to answer all inbound queries (calls, emails) from residents and answer any low level questions regarding lease, HOA violations, rent collection and all other aspects of management. The Resident Advocate team must be able to access data in the property management system and to understand who to escalate calls to.


This role requires acute attention to detail, impeccable organization, and expeditious responsiveness. It also requires the ability to speak with residents, owners, employers, rental references, and our property managers. The Resident Advocate will report to the VP of Property Management Operations.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage incoming phone calls to resolve issues and direct to the appropriate party
  • Support Property Management team by...
  • Verify that all applicants have proof of income, valid ID, and rental reference contacts.
  • Conduct calls and/or emails as needed to successfully retrieve required information, documentation, and rental and employment verifications (Verify and track down missing information)
  • Utilize and update accurate and thorough data in company software, Appfolio
  • Answer incoming calls related to rental and or employment verification
  • Correspondence of approved or denied rental applications with property managers via email
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
  • Knowledge of Housing Vouchers
  • Prepare correspondence
  • Provide exceptional service
  • Other tasks as assigned

 

Salary

  • Salary: $8/hr.

Please note that the hourly rate of $8 USD does not include the 11% fee from VPM Solutions. Additionally, this rate is subject to fluctuations in the peso-USD exchange rate.
