Salary range: up to $6,000 monthly, depending on experience

Summary

Eurasia Foundation seeks a Communications Consultant to work with the team for approximately seven (7) months. This 75-100% LOE position will report to the Communications Officer.

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop internal and external communications products, including feature stories, organizational news, event announcements, videos, impact reports, web collateral, and other digital publications and visual content.
  • Create graphic content (one- and two-pagers, proposal templates, layouts) in-house and work with external designers as necessary to design brochures, booklets, reports, etc.
  • Support internal communications efforts (monthly newsletters, Viva Engage campaigns, and other special projects as assigned).
  • Support the development of toolkits and talking points to improve staff, management, and Board communications efforts.
  • Support the communications and events team in preparing and staging public events (panels, screenings, etc.).
  • Support website maintenance and content updates; liaise with website contractor(s); monitor and report on website analytics.
  • Produce quarterly communications reports and edit and format triannual board reports.
  • Manage external vendors, consulting contracts, and expense reports for various communications support services, including graphic design, video production, and writers/editors.
  • Maintain and promote Eurasia Foundation’s brand identity, editorial style guidelines, and inclusive language guidelines internally.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a communications or marketing role.
  • Experience with international development and/or nonprofit organizations with government funding.
  • Passion for communication, digital media, and digital marketing.
  • Ability to communicate compellingly to diverse audiences, both international and domestic.
  • Acute attention to detail; ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and take responsibility for projects.
  • Exceptional writing and editing communication skills.
  • Native or native-equivalent English.
