Job description

We know that the process of buying a home can feel incredibly daunting, so as part of our mission we are looking to grow our protection team to help more of our customers go from saving for their deposit to owning their dream home and feeling confident that they have the right cover in place to remain in that home no matter what life throws at them. We’re looking for a Protection Case Manager with a passion for improving the home-buying journey and helping to demystify the world of mortgages. You will be the main point of contact for mortgage advisers and provide excellent service to our customers. You will be a critical part of the Moneybox team helping our customers make one of the most exciting and emotional financial decisions in their lives.

What you'll do
  • Proactively manage your pipeline of protection cases and keep case data accurate and up to date
  • Chase outstanding tasks to ensure cases move from submission to on risk
  • Manage inbound and outbound communication by chat, telephone and email
  • Chase protection providers for updates, manage cases through underwriting, chase GP’s for reports and get cases approved as smoothly as possible
  • Place protection policies on risk to match up with mortgage completion dates
  • Build strong relationships with advisers and other Moneybox teams
  • Continuously look for ways to improve the customer experience 
  • Work with other teams, such as Protection and Mortgage Advisers and Mortgage Case Managers to ensure smooth handovers and a seamless customer journey
  • Provide feedback to the Product team to improve our internal tools and make our workflows more efficient

  • Experience and skills
  • Mortgage administration experience (ideally protection) and experience communicating with protection providers
  • Ability to deal with a high volume workflow and prioritise accordingly
  • Excellent administration and communication skills
  • Strong attention to detailAbility to form strong and positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
  • Technology-savvy with a passion for building a new, market-leading mortgage experience.
  • Preferably experience working remotely
