Job Description

We are seeking a Business Transformation Lead to support and drive business change initiatives, with a focus on developing target operating models and overseeing controlled transitions. This role will play a key part in delivering business transformation programs, ensuring seamless transitions, and effectively managing stakeholder engagement throughout the change process. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in change management, communication planning, and impact analysis, with proven experience in leading transformative projects.

Requirements


Key Responsibilities

  • Target Operating Model Development: Design and develop comprehensive target operating models to align with program objectives, supporting strategic priorities and operational efficiency.
  • Change Management Leadership: Lead controlled business change processes, ensuring that transitions are managed smoothly with minimal disruption to ongoing operations.
  • Impact Analysis and Communication Planning: Conduct detailed impact assessments for proposed changes, identifying risks, dependencies, and benefits. Develop and implement communication plans to ensure all stakeholders are informed and aligned with transformation goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to gather insights, align expectations, and ensure buy-in for transformation initiatives. Act as a trusted advisor to guide stakeholders through the change process.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Create detailed documentation for each stage of the transformation process, including models, plans, and risk assessments. Provide regular reports on progress, challenges, and outcomes to relevant stakeholders.

Required Expertise

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in business transformation and change management, preferably within large-scale or complex program settings.
  • Proven ability to develop target operating models and conduct detailed impact analyses for business transformation initiatives.
  • Strong expertise in communication planning and stakeholder engagement, with the ability to build rapport and effectively manage diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Experience overseeing controlled business transitions, ensuring smooth and effective handover to operational teams.
  • Familiarity with methodologies and frameworks in program management, such as Agile, PRINCE2, or MSP, is advantageous.

Key Skills

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for facilitating collaboration across departments and teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail in developing models and assessing impact.
  • Proficiency in change management tools and project management software, such as MS Project, Visio, and Excel.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, capable of managing multiple work streams and priorities.

Required Certifications

  • PROSCI Change Management certification is essential.
  • APMG Change Management certification is highly desirable.
  • Additional certifications in project or program management (such as Agile, PRINCE2, or MSP) are advantageous but not mandatory.
