The Save the Sale Specialist (Sleep Professional) is a customer service role focused on re-engaging customers who are not fully satisfied with their Sleep Number products, aiming to resolve issues and improve their experience, ultimately reducing return rates and increasing customer satisfaction. This role is designed for individuals who enjoy problem-solving, have strong interpersonal skills, and are committed to ensuring customers have a positive experience with Sleep Number.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement & Retention: Handle calls from customers looking to return their Sleep Number products; resolve issues and offer solutions to retain them.
- Identify and Address Concerns: Use probing techniques to understand customer dissatisfaction, recommend solutions, and educate on product features.
- Comfort Solutions: Provide expert advice on how to adjust and personalize the Sleep Number settings to resolve comfort-related concerns.
- Product Knowledge & Troubleshooting: Answer product-related questions, diagnose issues, and resolve technology concerns.
- Documentation & Support: Accurately log customer information and resolution details, and provide backup support to other teams when needed.
Requirements
- Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred. 1-2 years of call center or service industry experience. Sales experience is preferred.
- Skills & Abilities: Strong problem-solving, sales, and communication skills. Ability to handle difficult situations with empathy and professionalism. Comfort with technology and troubleshooting.
- Work Environment: Must be comfortable working remotely with reliable internet. Able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
Working Conditions
- Remote: Position is fully remote, with a set schedule including evenings and weekends. Must have reliable internet (25 Mbps upload, 5 Mbps download). May be required to report to office if unable to work remotely.
- Equipment & Setup: Sleep Number provides necessary equipment, and you must be able to set it up in a quiet, distraction-free space.
