EMPACT- Suicide Prevention Center, part of the La Frontera family, is an industry leading non-profit organization dedicated to providing valued community services and resources for behavioral health counseling, crisis intervention, and suicide prevention since 1987. We are an EEO/AA Employer. 

 

What you’ll do:

We are looking for a dynamic professional who is a self-starter with a high level of initiative and highly detail-oriented. This position is responsible for analyzing and assessing systems, processes, and documentation for quality and compliance, and providing feedback and support to program managers and supervisors. Programs, policies and systems will be assessed for quality, effectiveness, and clinical safety. This position is remote, but will require occasional in-office hours. May be required to travel to other La Frontera EMPACT locations as needed.  **Phoenix, AZ valley area residents only** PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT A RESIDENT OF THE PHOENIX, AZ AREA.  

Essential Responsibilities:       

  1. Conduct and/or oversee quality reviews of clinical and service documentation for quality of content and adherence to best practices, and provide quality improvement support and technical assistance as indicated. 
  2. Analyze review results and effectively communicate findings, including recommendations for improvements, internal management team and external stakeholders and customers as necessary. 
  3. Keeps current with laws and regulations of federal, state, local, and licensing bodies, as well as best practices related to behavioral health care and social services. 
  4. Works collaboratively with agency compliance staff to facilitate trainings regarding quality, clinical risk, and compliance. 
  5. Demonstrates personal attentiveness, responsiveness, and prompt follow-up to all internal and external customers.
  6. Attend departmental meetings as required. 
  7. Assist in management of organizational projects as needed.
  8. Assist in evaluating and standardizing operations.
  9. Assist with training and education of staff upon request.


What you’ll provide:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field OR equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a behavioral health environment. 
  • High attention to detail and strong organization skills are essential. Experience using electronic health care records.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, capable of confidently and effectively presenting and speaking.
  • Able to work independently, collaboratively and proactively to accomplish work goals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and managing projects through a full cycle process.
  • Proficient in basic date analysis, reporting to include spreadsheets, charts and diagrams.
  • If driving while on agency time or on agency business, a valid Arizona driver license and appropriate liability insurance and approval for liability coverage with EMPACT - SPC’s liability insurance carrier is required. At time of hire, a 3-year state driving record with no major infractions or excessive driving violations/tickets is required.
  • Must have a Fingerprint clearance card or be eligible to obtain one.
