Overview

eBenefit Marketplace, an Alera Group company, is looking for an Implementation Specialist. We are seeking highly motivated colleagues who bring experience and enthusiasm to our team – joining us may be the perfect fit for you!

Responsibilities

  • Requirements Gathering - Manages the complete requirements-gathering process by setting timelines, prioritizing tasks, and detailing the implementation sequence; accurately identifies and documents client data needs for bswift setup, while maintaining organized records and notes throughout the implementation.
  • System Configuration - Entire system setup including but not limited to plans, rates, rules, benefit classes, plan details, customization, alerts, library, login page, employee homepage, admin homepage, reporting, and add-on modules (i.e. entire system setup excluding EDI feeds).
  • Data Load - Manages initial data import of demographics, benefit elections, and related implementation data, sets up automated inbound imports, validates external data sources, and ensures data integrity through accurate mapping.
  • Quality Assurance (QA) Testing Pre-Go Live - Reviews implementation documents to confirm alignment with client requirements, designs and executes test-case scenarios to detect setup issues, and prepares the system for User Acceptance Testing (UAT), guiding stakeholders throughout the process.
  • Client Education and Risk Management - Identifies potential risks and obstacles to on-time deliverables, educates clients on best practices, and conducts comprehensive system training for HR and broker-level users pre-Go Live.

Qualifications

  • Possesses comprehensive expertise in configuring all aspects of the bswift platform.
  • Has in-depth knowledge of the employee benefits industry and insurance terminology, enabling accurate translation of client requirements into platform setup.
  • Demonstrates strong analytical skills, thoroughly examining client benefits and eligibility to optimize system setup.
  • Skilled in identifying the best configuration approach, prioritizing efficiency and minimal manual maintenance for both internal teams and clients.
  • Holds relevant certifications, including bswift OE, ongoing certification renewals, and completion of all Litmos training courses

Target salary range is $65K to 70K per year, depending on experience.
