Job description

Position Summary:

As a Front-End HubSpot Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the front-end of our HubSpot-based websites and applications and ensuring content from authors is visually appealing and well optimized. You will work closely with our design, UX and marketing teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that meet the needs of our clients. This role requires a strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and HubL, as well as experience with HubSpot front-end development and tools (e.g. workflows, landing pages, forms). 

In this position, you will be responsible for implementing features and functionality, troubleshooting and debugging issues, and staying up to date with industry trends and best practices in front-end development. While the primary focus of this role is development using HubSpot’s CMS, the successful candidate will also have a blend of skills in UX/UI design and content management to contribute to our overall digital presence. 

 

This is a full-time, remote, exempt position and reports to the Director, Brand & Marketing.

 

Base Salary Range: $145,000 - $165,000 annually.

 

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain responsive, high-performing web pages and templates using HubSpot CMS.
  • Customize and optimize HubSpot themes, modules, and templates to meet design specifications and business requirements.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
  • Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in front-end development.
  • Optimize content for search engines using SEO principles.
  • Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders, including content contributors, designers, and developers.
  • Ensure alignment with UX/UI design principles to create seamless and visually appealing user experiences.
  • Other duties as assigned or requested.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • None.

Skills: 

  • Proficiency with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and HubL.
  • Experience with HubSpot front-end development.
  • Knowledge of responsive web design principles.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git, and cross-functional collaboration tools like JIRA or Asana is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

 

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in front-end development, with a focus on HubSpot.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Figma is a plus.
  • Experience working on projects from conception to completion.
  • Portfolio of relevant work.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
