Program Analyst V

This position requires an active Secret Clearance and US Citizenship

The Program Analyst V is responsible for collecting and analyzing data to evaluate operations and processes, facilitating complex decision-making across programs. This role follows established modeling and evaluation methodologies to assess the effectiveness of operational activities, isolating problem areas and developing strategic solutions. Additionally, the Program Analyst V tests and validates models and results, preparing comprehensive reports that outline proposed solutions and offer a range of alternatives.

This is a part-time position.

Compensation & Benefits:

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Program Analyst V: $57.78 per hour

Pay commensurate with experience.

Program Analyst V Responsibilities Include:

  • Collects and analyzes data to evaluate operations and processes.
  • Follows established modeling and evaluation methodologies to determine the effectiveness of current operational activities, isolate problem and develop solutions.
  • Leading work on projects and matters of moderate complexity.
  • Preparing detailed reports that rank proposed solutions and present potential alternatives.
  • Testing and validating models, ensuring alignment with operational goals.
  • Occasionally directed on certain aspects of the work but typically works with a high level of autonomy.
  • Reporting to a supervisor while leading critical project initiatives.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Program Analyst V Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:

Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree Required

Experience:

  • 4-7 years of experience in resettlement, resettlement program management, or monitoring and evaluation in a similar field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in resettlement program monitoring, including data evaluation, reporting, and solution development.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Proficiency in preparing business and technical documents, such as letters, reports, reviews, and other materials for both internal and external audiences.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. refugee resettlement policies and the ability to ensure compliance with Welcome Corps program requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the U.S. Refugee Admissions Program by monitoring Welcome Corps program activities.
  • Ensure effective and transparent execution of onsite monitoring visits.
  • Conduct interviews with sponsors and newly arrived refugees, followed by debriefings with Welcome Corps consortia staff.
  • Draft detailed summaries and reports of activities from monitoring trips.

Other Requirements:

  • Frequent travel is required, with trips lasting up to two weeks (most are one week).
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications with Cherokee Federal.
  • This position requires an active Secret Clearance and US Citizenship

  • Travel, domestic 10%
