As a lead software engineer specialising in frontend development, you’ll be at the forefront of crafting user experiences that define our products and delight our customers.

Looking for a JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux). You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.!

What you'll do

  • Lead the design, architecture and implementation of scalable frontend applications using JavaScript, React, HTML, CSS and modern web technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with backend engineers, designers, product managers and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Ensure high-quality code through code reviews, mentoring and setting best practices for the team in areas such as performance optimization, security, and maintainability.
  • Drive the development of reusable UI components and libraries, contributing to our design
  • Provide technical leadership to a growing team, including coaching, mentoring, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in frontend development and proactively integrate new tools and methodologies into the team’s workflow.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance the performance of our frontend applications.
  • Own the end-to-end development lifecycle of the key features and ensure smooth delivery to production.
  • Install and configure server environments for React deployments.
  • Developing new user facing features using React.js
  • Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
  • Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
  • Optimising components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers.


This role requires

  • Bachelor's Degree, 7+ years of professional experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on JavaScript, React, Typescript, HTML 5 and CSS.
  • Proven experience leading or mentoring a team of engineers, with a passion for helping others grow.
  • Proficiency with React tools such as webpack, Redux, Flux, etc., build tools, version control (Git), and continuous integration systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Analyzes and creates proofs of concept to evaluate and reduce new technology risks
  • Experience with performance optimization and debugging frontend applications.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented principles, design patterns, and software designing and architecture standard processes
  • Assist in developing the road maps for the teams or groups using your technical expertise
  • Design systems of components and own the execution of those designs
  • Ability to unblock conversations and collect feedback from other specialists
  • Broadly aware of all engineering standards and architecture notes as well as major developments in technical communities.


Must have :

  • Proficiency in JavaScript, object model, DOM manipulation, event handlers, data structures, algorithms, JSX, Babel and common tools used in wider React ecosystem such as Node.js, npm, etc.
  • Deep understanding of JavaScript frameworks (React, Next.js, etc.) and modern web development practices, Virtual DOM, component lifecycle, etc.., including responsive design and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Preceding experience with ReactJS workflows like Flux, Redux, Build React App, data structure libraries.
  • Understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, HTML, CSS, ES6 (variables and scoping, array methods), code versioning tools like GIT, SVN, etc.., popular frontend development tools such as CI/CD tools, DevOps, performance testing frameworks like Mocha, Node and NPM.


Bonus points if you have

  • Understanding in backend development, such as Java, Spring and Spring Boot will be advantage.
