JOB DESCRIPTION:
About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior Web Developer responsible for assessing technical requirements related to our ecosystem of campaign microsites and acquired company websites. You will also maintain and integrate these sites as strategies change.
The majority of work is focused on WordPress sites that power web applications. You will work closely with designers, project managers, and other developers to ensure our sites operate smoothly, meet user needs, and incorporate the latest web standards and best practices. Your web development expertise and familiarity with frontend and backend processes will be crucial in delivering high-quality digital solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and implement changes to our CMS powered websites, for example a decoupled WordPress site hosted on Vercel using GatsbyJS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability while ensuring high-quality standards.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues on both the WordPress backend and the GatsbyJS frontend.
- Maintain code quality and ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Stay current with industry trends and web technologies to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Create and maintain documentation for workflows, code, and development processes.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to the team’s growth and knowledge-sharing.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of experience in web development, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and frontend frameworks, especially GatsbyJS.
- Extensive experience with WordPress, including building and managing decoupled WordPress sites.
- Familiarity with Vercel’s deployment solutions and best practices.
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and how to integrate them with frontend applications.
- Familiarity with integrating marketing operations systems (Marketo, Hubspot)
- Experience with version control systems, such as Git.
- Strong problem-solving skills and an aptitude for learning new technologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with various content management systems.
- Experience with cross-platform site migrations.

Thank you for your interest in Commvault. Total compensation for this role is market competitive, and within the below base salary range:
$68,000 - $195,500
