About Key Media:
Key Media is a global media company delivering essential B2B content across sectors such as finance, insurance, law, and human resources. We’re looking for a talented native level French speaking writer/editor to support our team on a freelance basis to help enhance content for our Wealth publications aimed at the French-Canadian market.

 

Role Overview:
You will review, edit, and refine B2B articles and content specifically for a French-Canadian audience. Topics will include wealth management, financial planning, investments, and related areas. This is a remote, freelance position with the flexibility to work from anywhere. We seek a detail-oriented editor with a strong understanding of regional language nuances and a commitment to delivering high-quality, engaging content.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review & Edit: Refine B2B articles, reports, and guides to ensure clarity, accuracy, and professionalism for the French-Canadian market.
  • Content Quality: Improve content structure, grammar, tone, and style to align with Key Media’s editorial standards and appeal to a French-Canadian audience.
  • SEO & Readability: Optimize content for readability and apply basic SEO best practices when relevant.
  • B2B Focus: Ensure all materials reflect a strong understanding of the wealth management and finance industry, delivering value to a B2B audience.

 

Requirements:

  • Language Proficiency: Native-level proficiency in French, with an understanding of Canadian French nuances; strong English comprehension.
  • Writing & Editing Experience: Proven experience in writing or editing B2B content, ideally within finance, wealth management, or related sectors.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the wealth management and financial planning industry is a plus.
  • Attention to Detail: Meticulous editing skills, with an eye for tone, grammar, and regional linguistic differences.
  • Remote Work Ready: Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate remotely with an international team.
