PROGRAM: Elections Products

LOCATION: Remote; US-based only

EMPLOYMENT: Full time employee, 40/hr. per week

OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Product Ops and Growth who wants to help shape the future of elections with innovative data-driven solutions. You will be responsible for leading strategic delivery and supporting the Product Management team, ensuring that our election technology systems are efficient, secure, and scalable. You will support the Elections product team by:

  • Facilitating user interviews and other market research
  • Overseeing quality assurance checks on new features
  • Analyzing data to help product management make better-informed decisions
  • Developing business processes to streamline product development
  • Managing tools (for roadmapping, prototyping, etc.) that the product team uses
  • Working closely with support and sales to improve customer experience

You will devote your full attention to the bigger picture by applying operational discipline to the entire cross-functional team, to help clear a path to ensure the Elections product development team—PMs, developers, project managers, customer support, sales—can perform under the best possible circumstances.

We are dedicated to ensuring fair, secure, and accessible elections for all citizens. Reporting to the VP of Elections Products, the Senior Manager, Product Ops and Growth will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence and ensuring the successful execution of our strategic initiatives.

  • Strengthen Product Feedback Loop: directly impact the product feedback loop by creating and managing user feedback, opinions, and suggestions to improve the product. The process also includes responding to customers.
  • Delivery Strategy: Develop and execute a product / platform delivery strategy that aligns with the organization's overall business objectives and meets the evolving needs of our customers.
  • Own and Maintain the Product Stack: manage Product tools stack, establish best practices and processes around the product stack tools.
  • Project Management: Oversee the delivery of key and initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Work closely with teams to ensure successful product development, go-to-market execution and revenue growth.
  • Business Process Management: Monitor and improve the efficiency of Elections Product organizational processes, identifying opportunities for cost savings and process optimization.
  • Streamline Routine Tasks: Look at repeating processes and identify opportunities to streamline them so that they take less of the team’s time and yield more impactful results.
  • Metrics and Analytics: Analyze Data into Insights for the Product Team and provide critical support by building systems to capture, review, and analyze data. utilize this data to help PMs make better-informed product decisions. Track and analyze product performance metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement. Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitor activities, and customer pain points.
  • Financial Management: Manage the preparation and analysis of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for the Election Products division.
  • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their needs and gather feedback on product performance.
  • Business Development Support: Collaborate with business development teams to identify new market opportunities and develop sales strategies; Support business development on RFP responses to secure new business opportunities.


REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, political science, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in a senior leadership role, preferably in the elections technology or public sector.
  • Strong project management and program management skills.
  • Experience with financial planning and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence others.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in elections technology, deployment and standards
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Knowledge of the election technology industry and regulatory landscape.
  • Experience working with government or public sector organizations.
  • Knowledge of data analytics and data-driven decision-making.




PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at a time.
  • May be required to work on-call or long hours, if necessary, in case of serious network malfunction.
