Job description

Primary Function:
As a member of our in-house Global Marketing team, the ideal candidate must have strong writing and editing skills and have proposal or grant experience. Relocation knowledge preferred.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Write and edit customized proposals, and craft responses to complex RFI/RFP questionnaires on behalf of Cartus’ Sales and Account Management teams in support of winning new business or retaining existing client
Oversees final production and shipping of proposals
Collaborates with Sales and Account Management teams to ensure RFP responses are strategically aligned with business needs of the client or prospect
Opportunity to write/edit all types of documents (white papers, industry trends/analysis, core marketing materials, story boards/video scripting, and award applications, certification applications and blog posts)
Provides ongoing expertise and support to Proposals team
Supervises one or more team functions
Trains new and existing writers
Support management with implementation of strategic team initiatives
Demonstrates leadership qualities
Demonstrates process improvements
Qualifications/Selection Criteria:
Experience with 5 years of writing experience required (proposal writing preferable)
Experience in proposal writing, editing, procurement, grant writing, or journalism preferred
Demonstrable writing, editing, organizational, and communication skills required
Previous experience with Qvidian or other proposal management software preferred
Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Visio required
Experience in relocation / real estate helpful
Experience in creative writing styles (story board, brochures, etc.)
