Position Description:

As the Senior Director of Global Compensation, you will play a critical role in shaping and optimizing our compensation programs to attract, retain, and motivate top talent across our global organization. You will lead the development, implementation, and administration of broad-based compensation programs, policies and procedures; manage the administration of base salary, bonus, commission and other incentive compensation plans; oversee the design, implementation and roll-out of incentive compensation plans; lead annual compensation review cycles, promotions and market adjustments; advise and partner with HR business partners, talent management teams, and business leaders to strengthen the team’s business support structure; and collaborate with Finance and senior management on annual budgeting, planning and forecasting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage core compensation functions globally, including annual compensation review cycle, compensation survey participation, job evaluation, and assessment of market competitiveness.

  • Develop and refine compensation frameworks, policies and guidelines that are aligned with organizational goals and business strategy and support a global workforce, while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, pay-for-performance, and competitive and equitable pay.

  • Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of incentive plans (including sales incentive plans) globally:  partner with HR, Finance, and business leaders to understand business needs, performance drivers and metrics; evaluate plan effectiveness; and adapt plans to changing business needs and industry best practices.

  • Advise and collaborate with HR, Legal, Finance, and business leaders on compensation-related matters, partnering with stakeholders to address and resolve issues and communicate effectively.

  • Collaborate with Finance to maintain forecasting models for budget and expense planning and monthly incentive compensation accruals.

  • Work closely with HRIS team to maintain and enhance compensation functionality in Workday to support business requirements.

  • Supervise and mentor a global compensation team of 4 fully remote professional staff, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, Finance, Human Resources, or related field. Advanced degree a plus.

  • 15+ years of relevant compensation experience

  • 8+ years of incentive/sales plan design, budgeting, modeling, and forecasting.

  • Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience.

  • Commercially focused, with strong analytical skills, problem-solving mindset, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, complex organization.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; commercially minded, with demonstrated ability to partner with and influence stakeholders.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Working knowledge of Workday preferred.

  • Compensation certifications (CCP, GRP and/or CEP) preferred.
