Job description

The Opportunity:

As the Director of Global Supply Chain, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing our supply chain strategy on a global scale. You will lead cross-functional teams to optimize the end-to-end supply chain processes, enhance operational efficiency, and ensure alignment with business objectives. This position demands a strategic thinker with strong leadership capabilities and a deep understanding of global supply chain dynamics. You will lead a high-performing team of professionals and managers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

This role can be remote with 25% travel.

What we're looking for

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven track record of managing global supply chains in a complex, fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in implementing supply chain technologies and tools, such as ERP systems

  • Understanding of forecast and replenishment theory, obtained through APICS or similar training coursework

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities, with a focus on talent development.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Familiarity with global supply chain regulations, compliance, and risk management strategies.

  • APICS or other relevant supply chain certification preferred.

  • Experience in sustainability practices within the supply chain preferred.

  • Knowledge of logistics and distribution networks on a global scale preferred.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including production, sales, marketing, and finance, to ensure alignment and integration of supply chain activities.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for supply chain-related inquiries and issues, facilitating effective communication across departments.

Data-Driven Decision Making:

  • Leverage analytics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor supply chain performance and drive improvements.

  • Implement advanced planning and forecasting tools to enhance visibility and responsiveness across the supply chain.

Innovation and Continuous Improvement:

  • Foster a culture of innovation by identifying and implementing new technologies and processes that enhance supply chain efficiency.

  • Lead initiatives aimed at sustainability and reducing the environmental impact of supply chain operations.

Pay Transparency:

The expected pre-tax pay for this position is

$143,000.00 - $238,000.00

Actual pay may differ depending on relevant factors such as prior experience and geographic location.
