Job description

Job Title: Systems Analyst 3

Work Mode: Remote

Key Responsibilities

Oversee and execute the migration of data across multiple database systems, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
Develop, implement, and maintain database management systems to support the company’s data needs.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand and implement EHR data migration requirements.
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues to maintain optimal performance and reliability.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all database management and migration processes.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, particularly those related to healthcare data.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior database administrators and data migration specialists.
Continuously evaluate and improve database management practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Required Qualifications

8 years of experience in database management systems and data migration.
Must have at least 16-18 years of total IT experience.
Extensive experience with healthcare EHR systems.
Proficiency in Inter Systems Caché Database, Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or similar database scripting environments.
Strong understanding of data migration methodologies and best practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Desirable Skills

2 years of experience with Texas DIR Project Delivery Framework and document templates. Familiarity with company's information architecture and information management methodologies.
Knowledge of Agile Scrum Methodology.
