Technical Development Intern

Summary

The Solution Network Team is seeking a Technical Development Intern to support the Manager of Solution Network Development in advancing roadmap initiatives and refining development processes. This intern will collaborate closely with the development team, participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), and contribute to the creation and distribution of technical content across the company. The ideal candidate is passionate about engaging with various internal teams and demonstrates a strong drive to succeed, a keen aptitude for learning in a technical environment, and a continuous curiosity that will drive their success in this role.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality code to ensure efficiency, reusability, and reliability in software solutions, contributing to scalable and optimized applications.
  • Implement and integrate data storage solutions, including databases and other storage options, to ensure seamless data access and organization within applications.
  • Support code quality and organization by conducting code reviews, adhering to best practices, and promoting clean, maintainable code structures.
  • Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements for existing software solutions to ensure they meet evolving business needs and maintain high performance over time.
  • Conduct research and analyze current and future initiatives, compiling detailed findings to support strategic decisions and guide development priorities.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and collaborative discussions to contribute ideas, align with project goals, and foster continuous learning and team alignment.

 

Required Education and Experience

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate-level degree in a relevant field of study, such as computer science, information technology or a related discipline.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher.
  • Strong preference of junior, senior, and graduate-level students.
  • Prior internship experience is beneficial but not required.

  • Highly motivated and self-directed.
  • Possess basic knowledge of and a keen interest in finance.
  • Excellent analytical, quantitative, and interpretative skills.
  • Know your way around Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Comfort with speaking to individuals and presenting to large groups
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
