About The Opportunity

As the Manager of Bid Management for Europe and the Middle East, you will oversee end-to-end RFx processes, ensuring compliance and delivering compelling proposals that showcase Ellucian’s solutions for client challenges. Reporting to the Senior Director of Global Proposals, this role includes one direct report. This opportunity requires a combination of the ability to read and decipher RFx instructions for compliance and understanding institutional challenges expressed in the RFx and by the Field Team. You will develop persuasive and compelling proposals that lead to the customer or prospect's understanding of how the Ellucian solutions will solve their business problems.

The successful candidate is perceptive, self-motivated, a change leader, and able to effectively manage projects to hard deadlines. Strong organization and written and verbal communication skills are a must. This position works in fast-paced environment, managing assignment completion within the designated time frames, and in accordance with established procedures. As part of a dynamic team, you will work cross-functionally throughout Ellucian with various teams including Sales, Legal, Solutions Consulting, Deal Desk, Product and more.


Where you will make an impact

  • Lead EMEA bid management, collaborating with cross-functional teams (Sales, Legal, Solutions Consulting, etc.) to secure deals in global markets.
  • Manage RFx processes via Monday.com, coordinating timelines, touchpoints, and on-time proposal submission.
  • Ensure adherence to deadlines, oversee reviews and final proposal edits, and respond to RFx technical/security questions.
  • Develop and document win strategies, executive summaries, and tailored responses in collaboration with the Sales and Solutions Consulting teams.
  • Drive proposal enhancements, focusing on strategic positioning and increasing the win rate.


What You Will Bring

  • Familiarity with Higher Education or Software | Tech industry preferred.
  • Strong ability to align client needs with strategic solutions and win themes.
  • Proven experience in project management and the ability to lead change initiatives.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Adobe Pro DC, and knowledge of RFx/proposal tools (e.g., Ombud, RFPIO) is a plus.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Monday.com, Gong, and Highspot is beneficial.
