The Technology Director will be responsible for defining the technology landscape and fostering an innovative culture within the team. This role is integral to driving the company’s technological vision and ensuring the delivery of cutting-edge solutions that meet both local and international needs.

Responsibilities

Assist in shaping the technology strategy for the company within the Government Technical domain
Ensure expertise in selected technologies and build a world-class implementation team
Contribute to the development and leadership of a technology consultancy stream
Serve as the primary customer-facing representative for the company’s clients
Establish new technology processes and continuously improve existing ones
Support the organization and oversight the architecture governance process across the company projects and engagements
Provide technological qualification for deals and partnerships
Support the building and nurturing research and development partnerships
Facilitate the implementation of AI-driven processes and technologies
Offer thought leadership in GovTech technologies within the region

Requirements

A minimum of 3 years of practical experience in a relevant technology leadership role
Over 7 years of experience in both cloud-native/on-prem approaches, container-based, and API-first technologies
Extensive knowledge of modern architecture styles such as microservices and serverless
Experience with low-code and no-code solutions
Practical experience in organizing and leading Research and Development projects
Proven ability to attract, hire, and nurture technological talent, ensuring tech teams are empowered and aligned with strategic goals
Demonstrated public speaking and publishing experience
Experience in AI-driven technologies
Proficiency in English at the C-level or equivalent
Ability to align technology landscape with business capabilities and objectives
Proven track record of managing multiple engagements simultaneously
Expertise in building effective, self-sufficient, and high-performing teams
Strong leadership skills with a go-to-person approach to work
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting and solving complex, unique problems
AI-enhanced decision-making and innovation
