Our Data Services Quality Assurance group is responsible for extensive testing across multiple cutting-edge technologies and systems. Our priority is blending these technologies and focusing on real-world, end-to-end testing. We ensure all of our systems integrate and deploy to Akamai's Platform
Partner with the best
As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be part of a scrum team. You work to support good quality practices and build integration and system tests, both manual and automated. You'll be a key part of the team responsible for testing of Akamai Data Warehouse.
As a Software Development Engineer in Test, you will be responsible for-
- Performing the full QA cycle for software releases.
- Gathering specs, developing test plans, automate, running automated and manual tests is what you do.
- Creating and applying new approaches and concepts to improve the productivity and efficiency of testing practices
- Performing and participating including requirements gathering, feature and functional testing, regression, load, and performance testing
- Designing testing tools, which include developing scripts to enhance regression testing.
Do What You Love
To be successful in this role you will-
- Have solid QA testing experience
- Show advanced knowledge of scripting languages like Python, shell script and SQL knowledge
- Have a good understanding on networking protocols and technologies (especially HTTP, HTTPS, DNS)
- Demonstrate experience in testing of Backend Distributed systems
- Have some familiarity with Kubernetes
