Join our team to work with us on one of the market leading online platform for travelers. The platform serves as a comprehensive resource for users, offering a wide range of services to assist individuals and businesses in planning and booking various aspects of their trips. This platform aims to streamline the travel planning and booking process, offering a one-stop-shop for all aspects of a trip. It provides travelers with the tools and information they need to make informed decisions and create memorable travel experiences.

Requirements:

5+ years of related professional experience in user experience market research with a suitable advanced degree (e.g. Masters or PhD in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Psychology, or other related field preferred.), OR 8+ years of work experience if no advanced degree.

Expert in a few of the following methodologies, competent in most:

– Usability studies (lab and remote)

– Biometrics

– Surveys

– Interviews

– Focus groups

– Heuristic evaluations

– Card sorting

– Experimental design.

Experienced in moderating fields research studies, analyzing data, reporting on research, and design research studies with minimal or no supervision.

Able to demonstrate a strong understanding of user centered design.

Familiar with advanced research methodologies.

Excellent English language skills.

Job Responsibilities:


  • Conduct research to identify user needs and product market fit to help inform strategy and capabilities to be built:
  • Refine research requests in collaboration with multiple stakeholders within highly-matrixed, cross-functional project teams
  • Develop research plans using methods appropriate to addressing research questions
  • Recruit participants representing target audience
  • Conduct moderated or unmoderated research
  • Analyze results
  • Report findings and relevant insights to cross-functional project teams
  • Archive results.
  • Confidently conducts user or market research using the following methods:
  • Usability studies
  • Iterative design research
  • In-depth interviews.
  • Be familiar with many of the following user or market research methods:
  • Low-to-medium complexity surveys
  • Focus groups
  • Diary Studies
  • Participatory Design
  • Contextual Inquiry
  • Concept Study
  • Kano
  • Card Sorting (open & closed)
  • Tree-testing
  • Build relationships with stakeholders to better understand business needs and the context of problem areas and target users.
  • Tailor communications (content focus, style, format, etc.) for different audiences as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with experience and content designers within the human-centered design process to design exceptional experiences for the customers.
  • Collaborate with experience designers and content designers to facilitate the gathering and synthesizing of diverse insights in ambiguous problem spaces.
  • Apply and adapt design and research processes to fit needs of project.
