The Technical Communication Office (TCO) at SoftServe is an in-house center of excellence dedicated to enhancing user interactions with technology through expert user assistance, technical documentation, educational content, and localized strategies. TCO drives quality and innovation in technical communication, supporting people, projects, and client success, with a specialized COE team focused on delivering both short-term and long-term value across the TechComm expertise.

IF YOU ARE

  • Experienced in technical writing or similar roles (2+ years)
  • Adept at translating complex information into clear, user-friendly content for system-oriented developers and business stakeholders
  • Strong in written and verbal communication, with a solid command of the English language, adhering to plain English guidelines and international standards (e.g., Microsoft, Apple)
  • Knowledgeable in SDLC processes and Agile (Scrum) methodology, with a proactive approach to task estimation, alignment, and independent task management
  • Skilled in creating user documentation, and how-to educational videos, and capable of using content authoring tools like Microsoft 365, Adobe RoboHelp, MadCap Flare, or docs-as-code approaches
  • Detail-oriented, highly responsible, and flexible, with a strong focus on technical accuracy and user needs
  • Experienced in cross-functional team collaboration (designers, developers, product managers, analysts, marketing, or customer support)
  • Successful in adapting corporate voice and tone for a cohesive brand experience in various communication formats


AND YOU WANT TO

  • Perform project investigations, including user assistance requirements, personas, end users, and visual representation
  • Adhere to product requirements and follow style guidelines and documentation formats
  • Prepare interview materials and use gathered information to develop documentation, clarifying requirements when needed
  • Work efficiently with document and presentation templates
  • Develop and update user documentation to ensure ease of use and quick access to information
  • Create release notes that describe new product features
  • Produce how-to videos for the product
  • Follow project schedules and priorities, planning and aligning your work accordingly
  • Review your content for linguistic, technical, and spelling errors, ensuring brand compliance
