Global Sales Data & Insight Manager
Global Sales Data & Insight Manager will lead and elevate our B2B sales performance reporting, data optimization, and business intelligence (BI) strategy as part of the Global B2B Sales Excellence team. If you’re driven by data, skilled in generating actionable insights, and excited to drive sales excellence in one of Europe’s largest fuel and convenience retailers, we want to hear from you.
THE ROLE
In this role, you will be at the forefront of data-driven decision-making, leveraging data to provide insights, shape corrective actions, and support strategic initiatives across Europe and North America. This position is integral to benchmarking performance, identifying key sales drivers, and providing insight to improve operations across business units. Your expertise in BI solutions and data flow optimization will ensure that the right systems and processes are in place to support decision-making and drive commercial success.
You will also play a crucial role in managing the introduction of new BI and IT systems. Your understanding of how BI tools impact data flows and processes will be key in recommending and implementing technologies that align with our business goals.
Note: This is an operational role that does not include leadership of subordinates.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Data Transformation: Convert complex data sets into actionable insights, managing monthly, weekly, and ad-hoc reporting to support data-driven decision-making.
Reporting and Frameworks: Develop and maintain reporting frameworks that enhance commercial strategies and support continuous process improvement.
Sales Optimization: Identify opportunities for improvement in sales pipeline management and customer value maximization based on KPIs, benchmarking, and data analysis.
Performance Benchmarking: Conduct sales and commercial performance benchmarking across regions, identifying drivers and sharing insights to foster learning and improvement across units.
Strategic Decision-Making: Use data modeling and analysis to inform resource planning and allocation decisions.
BI Solutions Management: Partner with IT and business teams to evaluate, implement, and optimize BI tools that enhance reporting accuracy and improve sales pipeline visibility.
Data Flow Management: Oversee data flow integration across platforms, ensuring smooth operation and effectiveness of BI solutions.
Change Management: Lead change management efforts for new BI and IT system implementations, ensuring seamless transitions and maximizing the value of new tools.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Education: BSc or MSc in fields such as Finance, Business Administration, Economics, IT, Sales, or Marketing.
Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of data flows, BI tools, and their organizational impacts; ideally with a background in IT project management or business analysis.
Experience: Demonstrated experience in managing or implementing BI solutions with tools like Power BI, Tableau, or similar. Knowledge of B2B sales processes and CRM systems such as Salesforce.
Analytical Skills: Proven problem-solving abilities, with a talent for translating data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex information for diverse stakeholders.
Stakeholder Engagement: Skilled in managing relationships with stakeholders across levels, and able to align analysis and insights with business objectives.
Additional Advantage: Change management, IT project management, or business analysis experience is a plus.
Team and Collaboration:
You will be a part of a team of 15 talented colleagues in three different departments, each with different responsibilities but working in close collaboration. The team meets up in person at least on quarterly basis, allowing you to stay connected and align on key initiatives. You will also have the opportunity to work hybrid, with flexibility to work from home.
