Job description

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative, in B2B space who is interested to work on a long-term independent contactor basis. This person must have superior English and Written communication skills, and thrive on sourcing leads and making introductory-exploratory calls to clients. Candidates needs to be able to work Eastern or Central Time Zone hours.

Responsibilities:

  • Source company and contact leads.
  • Research company information and customer contact information.
  • Update customer information and sales activity in CRM.
  • Develop and implement email campaigns to attract new leads and introduce yourself to prospects.
  • Collaborate with marketing team, sharing posts on social media.
  • Perform cold calls and market company services.
  • Identify needs and challenges of the prospective customer.
  • Assess the level of interest from the customer by listening and asking key questions.
  • Schedule discovery meetings for business development executives.
  • Potentially attend virtual networking events to build and maintain professional relationships.
  • Perform research on competitors, market trends, and keep abreast of new lead acquisition methods.

Education/ Licenses:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Studies in professional sales are an asset.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years or more of professional sales experience, preferably B2B.
  • Exposure to business processes and organizational structures is a strong asset.
  • Experienced networking with social media platforms such as LinkedIn.

Technology:

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office.
  • Experience working with a CRM is an asset.
  • Technology friendly, eager to learn new systems.
