About The Role

About the Team:

As a One View Global Payroll Sales Architect (Overlay) in our dynamic team at UKG, you'll play a pivotal role in driving impactful engagements with prospective customers. Operating in an overlay capacity alongside our wider sales teams, you'll collaborate seamlessly to research and creatively identify opportunities for relationship development.

About The Role

Your expertise in global payroll technology solutions will shine as you educate prospects on the unique selling points of UKG's offerings. In this role, you'll not only cultivate and qualify leads but also nurture them down the sales funnel, leveraging your knowledge of HR and payroll functions.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively alongside the wider UKG sales teams, in an overlay capacity, with the view of delivering effective, impactful prospective customer engagements in your role as a One View global payroll sales specialist.
  • Research prospects and creatively identify ways to develop a relationships
  • Cultivate and qualify new leads and nurture down the sales funnel
  • Ownership on both a personal, with contribution to wider team, targets.
  • Detailed Account Planning with a methodical approach to organisations C-Suite.
  • Use in-depth selling knowledge to educate prospects on UKG’s global payroll technology solution and its USPs
  • Expected to build a solid comprehension of wider UKG products and services and how such can interact with One View and add extra value to customers.
  • Work closely with Leadership, colleagues and Marketing on various projects to support the entire commercial team for growth
  • Build and grow executive, C-Suite relationships with enterprise orgs in a consultative manner influencing our long-term strategic direction to serve as a business partner.
  • Learn our One View tech: demos, conferences, live sales pitches
  • You'll bring valuable insights and product feedback to our Product team in an organized, actionable format to facilitate ongoing client-driven product development

About You

To be successful in the role you will bring:

  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development or related field and/or equivalent experience
  • Experience of engaging and successfully selling into corporate finance teams.
  • Collaborative and customer -focused with ability to develop strong relationships at all levels
  • Demonstrated ability to align HR programs to business goals and objectives in a high growth environment
  • Proven capabilities in guiding organizations through periods of change
  • Experience in the interpretation of people analytics is a plus
  • Software industry experience preferred

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of relevant sales experience (ideally payroll specific). You have owned a personal quota.
  • Flexibility with EMEA and US time zones as and when needed
  • Experience with tech, integrations and UI's

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ideally you have worked in an overlay sales role previously / as a ‘sales specialist’
  • A passion for innovation, tech, creating relationships, managing a pipeline through strategic deals (6-9 mth sales cycle)
  • Exhibited confidence in a board-room atmosphere while providing advice to clients through complex sales cycles
  • Demonstrated success through legal negotiations working with procurement and business teams. (full support is offered here through the sales cycle)
  • Comprehension and demonstratable experience of well-known value selling methodologies and support tools (knowledge of MEDDPICC is preferable)
  • Experience and hunger to work in a fast-paced, high-energy sales culture with a proven track record of consistent performance
