Job description

Peerspace is the leading and category defining online marketplace for venue rentals for meetings, productions, and events. We open doors to the most inspiring spaces around the world, from lofts and mansions to storefronts and studios. Peerspace welcomes guests to over 40,000 spaces where they can bring their creative ideas to life, and empowers hosts to earn additional income. Over $500M has been transacted through the platform and our investors include GV (Google Ventures) and Foundation Capital.

The role:

As a Senior Product Manager at Peerspace, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our two-sided marketplace. You'll lead a cross-functional team to optimize the experience for both guests and hosts, with a particular focus on building tools that empower hosts to excel.

You'll be focused on streamlining the hosting experience through user-friendly tools, data-driven insights, and intelligent automation. This includes developing systems that motivate hosts through well-designed incentive structures and gamification elements. A key challenge will be driving adoption of new functionality, so experience with behavioral design, engagement loops, and user activation strategies is essential.

Our team is small but mighty - so you'll be able to make a ton of impact quickly, and help shape the future direction of the product and the company.

What you'll do:

Develop a deep understanding of host operations, behaviors, and pain points through data analysis and direct engagement with our host community
Drive data-informed decisions by developing and monitoring key success metrics, conducting regular performance reviews, and iterating based on results
Lead discovery processes to validate host needs, test hypotheses around feature adoption, and identify opportunities for gamification and behavioral design
Build and maintain a strategic product roadmap that balances quick wins in host efficiency with long-term platform innovations
Drive the end-to-end product development process, working with cross-functional teams to deliver tools that measurably improve host success and satisfaction
Develop data-driven insights and reporting capabilities that help hosts optimize their business performance
Evaluate third-party solutions and make strategic build-vs-buy decisions for host management tools and automation capabilities

Who you are:

You have 5+ years of experience as a product manager (ideally with marketplace products or tooling for SMBs)
You have a track record of successfully driving feature adoption and engagement, ideally with with experience in behavioral design and incentive structures
You can build a product roadmap and collaborate with engineering, designers, operations, and executives to make it happen.
You have strong analytical skills with experience in behavioral data analysis
You’re a creative problem solver, who’s entrepreneurial, quantitative, and always learning
You are detailed oriented and can drive difficult projects to completion
Inclusive, open-minded, self-aware and eager to continuously learn. You have a passion for product and are genuinely excited about Peerspace's mission.
