Job Summary:
We are seeking a Lead Product Manager with a passion for web3, gaming, and esports to drive the development and expansion of ZeroSum. In this role, you’ll lead product strategy, development, and execution to build a seamless and engaging experience for players, games developers, organizers, and fans. As the key decision-maker for product direction, you'll ensure alignment with our business goals while leveraging blockchain technology and other emerging technologies such as Entangle's Photon to enhance engagement, security, and transparency.

Responsibilities:

1. Product Strategy & Vision
   - Define and communicate a clear product vision that aligns with our mission.
   - Identify and prioritize new features, improvements, and integrations based on user feedback, competitive analysis, and market trends.
   - Develop metrics for success and lead data-driven decision-making to optimize player engagement and platform performance.

2. Roadmap Development
   - Build and maintain a product roadmap that reflects business objectives and user needs, with a focus on scalability and innovation.
   - Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and operations, to bring new features from concept to launch.
   - Continuously assess the roadmap to adapt to emerging trends and technologies within the web3 and gaming ecosystems.

3. User Experience (UX) & Community Focus
   - Develop and advocate for a user-centered design approach to ensure the platform meets the needs of players, organizers, and spectators.
   - Work with community managers and UX designers to gather insights from user behavior and feedback to improve the platform.
   - Collaborate with marketing and customer success teams to understand community sentiment and implement initiatives to foster engagement and loyalty.

4. Web3 Integration & Innovation
   - Champion blockchain and tokenization strategies that enhance in-game economies, player rewards, and data ownership while maintaining a user-friendly experience.
   - Partner with blockchain developers to implement smart contracts and NFTs, ensuring they are secure, scalable, and aligned with product objectives.
   - Stay up-to-date with web3 developments and advise on new opportunities, including decentralized governance models, DAO integration, or cross-platform token interoperability.

5. Esports Tournament Platform Leadership
   - Lead initiatives to improve tournament management features, such as matchmaking, live streaming, scoring, and prize distribution.
   - Innovate on in-platform features that encourage fair play, competitive integrity, and a rewarding user experience.
   - Build partnerships with esports organizations, game developers, and influencers to expand platform reach and collaboration opportunities.

6. Analytics & Performance Tracking
   - Use analytics to measure product performance, user engagement, and revenue impact, identifying areas for improvement and iterating on features.
   - Develop reports and present insights to executive stakeholders to keep them informed on product success and challenges.

Qualifications:

- Experience: 5+ years of experience in product management, with 3+ years in gaming, esports, or web3.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of gaming ecosystems, including competitive gaming dynamics, tournament operations, and player communities.
- Technical Expertise: Familiarity with blockchain technology, smart contracts, NFTs, and cryptocurrency, particularly in gaming or esports contexts.
- Product Management Skills: Strong experience in roadmapping, prioritization, UX design principles, and data analytics.
- Leadership: Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, driving results in a fast-paced and innovative environment.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to inspire team members and engage stakeholders.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field.

- Experience with popular web3 protocols and tools (e.g., Ethereum, Solana, ImmutableX).
- Knowledge of tournament management software such as Game SDKs, competitive game ecosystems, and esports industry trends.
- Experience managing tokenomics, staking, or other blockchain reward systems.
