Job description

We are seeking a Chief Product Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management within the B2B SaaS sector, a passion for innovation, and a commitment to excellence. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping the product vision, strategy, and execution for our suite of products, including WebChart, Enterprise Health, and BlueHive. Your leadership will drive product innovation, enhance user experiences, and ensure alignment with market needs and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Vision & Strategy:

    • Define and communicate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns with MIE’s overall business objectives and market trends.

    • Collaborate with the executive team to integrate product strategy with corporate strategy and growth objectives.

  • Leadership:

    • Lead and mentor a high-performing product management team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability.

    • Conduct regular performance reviews, provide coaching, and identify opportunities for team development.

  • Market Analysis:

    • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify customer needs, competitive landscape, and emerging trends in healthcare technology.

    • Utilize data-driven insights to inform product direction and prioritization.

  • Product Development:

    • Oversee the entire product lifecycle from ideation to launch, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products that meet customer expectations and compliance standards.

    • Implement Agile methodologies to facilitate efficient product development cycles and maintain flexibility in responding to changing market demands.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration:

    • Work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure product alignment and successful go-to-market strategies.

    • Facilitate effective communication across departments to gather input and feedback on product features and improvements.

  • Customer Engagement:

    • Establish strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders to gather feedback, assess product performance, and drive continuous improvement.

    • Conduct regular customer feedback sessions and incorporate insights into product enhancements.

  • Metrics & KPIs:

    • Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform strategic decisions.

    • Employ a process-oriented and metrics-driven management style, using data to establish accurate forecasting, predictability, insights, and accountability.

Required Qualifications

  • Education:

    • Desired but not required: Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Experience:

    • 8+ years of experience as a successful product leader in a B2B SaaS organization, with a track record of developing and executing a product roadmap.

    • Proven experience leading product teams and managing multiple product lines simultaneously.

  • Skills:

    • Strong collaboration skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.

    • Excellent technical competency, including coding/software engineering experience and a solid understanding of technical architecture and SaaS principles.

    • Proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies to inform product decisions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with modernization of a mature SaaS product (including architecture, modularization, and UI/UX enhancements).

  • Ability to build and manage scalable processes to identify product development/enhancement opportunities, define product requirements, manage development activities, and deliver roadmap elements.

  • Relevant customer experience in enterprise-level SaaS and Healthcare IT, with a strong understanding of industry regulations and standards.

  • Linux background preferred, with knowledge of cloud-based solutions and architectures.

Compensation

This full-time position offers a competitive base salary range of $200,000 to $300,000, plus bonus and benefits. The salary range represents the minimum and maximum target compensation for this role. Actual pay within this range will be based on various factors, including the candidate’s work location, relevant skills, experience, and educational background.
