Summary:

In this role, you will utilize your expertise in overall healthcare and hospital operations, specifically in Purchased Services, Indirect and Non-Clinical Spend, to identify, deliver, and support various cost-reducing savings strategies for our Providers and clients. You will conduct various analytic activities and conduct stakeholder discussions to generate strategic insight and identify opportunities to drive performance and quality improvements, implement solutions and deliver cost savings.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the services and offerings within the Advisory Solutions and Purchased Services Categories.

  • Deliver successful consulting engagements with autonomy, and as part of a consulting team.

  • Lead consulting engagements and maintain knowledge of Advisory Solution practices, delivery, and client value characteristics.

  • Develop and execute project plans that meet project schedule, budget and expected value.

  • Manage resources assigned to specific projects, proactively identifying potential issues, and presenting viable solutions to ensure deliverables and timelines are met.

  • Respond to client requests for ad hoc data analysis, strategy determination and/or coaching.

  • Develop, execute, and track project plans and savings implementations. Utilize project management methodology to guide work efforts.

  • Facilitate client meetings and discussions.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree preferred. Advanced degree in Healthcare Administration preferred.

  • 5 or more years of relevant experience required.

  • Knowledge of and experience in Purchased Services required. (i.e., contracting, implementation, hospital management, and/or hospital operations)

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and interpret data, identify opportunities, develop actionable insights, and proficiently manage projects with a results-oriented mindset required.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills tailored to various audiences, including C-Suite / Executive Audiences, internal / external stakeholders, clients, and end-users required.

  • Prior consulting experience required.

  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret financial reports, legal contracts, and documents.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite. (Power BI and Tableau, a plus).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to think strategically and creatively to solve complex business challenges.

  • Exceptional project management skills with the ability to define, plan and lead projects forward.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, high-pressure, and results-oriented environment.

  • Ability to travel regularly and expeditiously throughout the year to meet clients’ needs and timetables.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $88,900.00 to $146,700.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
