Ferring is on a mission to transform the treatment of bladder cancer with a novel, first-in-class intravesical gene therapy for Non-Muscle Invasive Bladder Cancer that provides patients with an alternative to bladder removal surgery. Our Uro-Oncology team is expanding with a variety of rewarding opportunities in commercial, medical affairs and technical operations. We are seeking a Senior Manager, Patient Insights & Navigation (Uro-Oncology – West) to join our team. This is a remote position that will be responsible for improving accessibility, timing, and availability of applicable Ferring products for customers and patients as they move through the treatment journey. Key responsibilities will include coordinating information flow and tracking and monitoring cases in real time as they move from initiation to administration. This position will develop insights into the patient journey and make recommendations to improve processes, communication, and hand-offs. This position will work closely with all field team members and leadership.

This position could be based in Parsippany, NJ or remote and will have working hours aligned to the field teams in the Eastern or Central time zones.

Responsibilities:

  • Integrate with Ferring Access Support
  • Monitor case progress and work with field team members
  • Develop case database and analyze case outcomes for reporting; design and develop reports
  • Coordinate and lead regular status meetings with appropriate leadership to review learnings
  • Identify gaps and barriers that are impacting treatment journey
  • Support onboarding of new hires as needed
  • Analyze and interpret datasets to inform business decisions
  • Share appropriate insights (as applicable) to inform brand strategy
  • Develop strong working relationships across functions and serve as a key business partner
  • Follow all policies related to working with patient health information

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales, marketing, business insights, or patient access experience is required within pharmaceutical or biotech industry
  • Experience or proven ability to problem solve, demonstrate strong business acumen, to advance a business case with sense of urgency.
  • Strong understanding of buy and bill dynamics (commercial & Medicare), reimbursement, and the impact on offices and hospitals
  • Highly developed communication skills with the ability to story-tell using data and influence leadership in a way that can bridge gaps among multiple stakeholders
  • Knowledge of compliance and legal matters related to the pharmaceutical industry (including Fraud and Abuse laws and the PhRMA Code) strongly encouraged
  • Project management skills
  • Understanding of and experience with working with patient information
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office applications (specifically Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze and present data
  • Thrives in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working on a matrixed team
  • Travel 25% of the time to internal meetings and home office

Our Compensation and Benefits

At Ferring, base salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $144,000 to $175,000, which is the reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount paid may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education and primary work location. Additional compensation for this role will be provided based on competitive annual incentive compensation targets in the form of an annual bonus - payouts are based on individual and company performance.

Benefits for this role include: comprehensive healthcare (medical, dental, and vision) with a premium differential, inverse to base salary, to be paid by employees; a 401k plan and company match; short and long-term disability coverage; basic life insurance; wellness benefits; reimbursement for certain tuition expenses; sick time frontloaded yearly of 40 hours, or higher if state or local law requires; vacation time for full time employees to accrue between 112.5 and 150 hours yearly in the first four (4) years of employment, and additional accruals starting in the fifth (5th) year of employment; and 12 to 13 paid holidays per year. For roles that are not field-based, Ferring has a policy that allows employees to work up to two days from home and three at a Ferring site, weekly.
