What You Will Do:

  • Guidehouse is seeking a Workday Data Conversion Lead for full platform Workday implementations

  • The person we are seeking will provide expertise in requirements gathering, design, and implementation of customer data conversion processes

  • They will work with the Guidehouse Workday Practice leadership to build tools, templates, and processes for ensuring data conversion activities are of high quality, repeatable, and effective.

  • As a Workday Data Lead your primary responsibilities may include:

  • Responsible for managing build timelines and collaboration with project management team on tenant management

  • Plan and execute comprehensive configuration migration throughout deployment using Workday delivered toolset

  • Serve as the primary knowledge source for converting data from legacy systems and spreadsheets into the Workday HCM & Financials system 

  • Converting Data into Workday using Workday provided loading tools  

  • Create ETL scripts to transform and load data in preparation to load to Workday 

  • Lead in the validation of data loaded into Workday 

  • Responsible for assisting clients in mapping legacy data, identifying data quality issues and overall responsibility over conversion activates on the project 

  • Responsible for key communication to project and client leadership 

  • Collaborate with client counterpart to successfully deliver on shared objectives 

  • Responsible for timely identification and escalation of risks and development of alternative technical and functional approaches when necessary 

  • Lead the identification of process improvements and changes to our methodology based on project experience 


What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's degree with a MINIMUM of FIVE (5) years of experience in Workday data conversion or equivalent work; relevant experience may be substituted for formal education

  • This role is a hybrid role which will require you to go into the closest Guidehouse Office as needed or on occasion.   

What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Preference will be given to candidates who reside within a reasonable number of miles of a Guidehouse Office

  • Minimum of 2 full Workday Phase 1 implementations in a Data Conversion Lead role

  • Minimum of 2 years of Data Conversion experience including strong ETL and XML capabilities and SQL experience

  • Strong reporting / analytics / BI experience

  • Demonstrated experience with Excel, Visio, MS Project (or equivalent) and PowerPoint

The annual salary range for this position is $125,600.00-$188,400.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
