What You Will Do:
As a clean energy finance focused Green Bank Senior Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients through the design, development, and execution of innovative clean energy financing programs. You will help to manage clients, collaborating closely to document organizational designs, develop strategic frameworks, and streamline processes to drive impactful outcomes. Your expertise will be essential in gathering and analyzing data from stakeholders, synthesizing insights, and delivering actionable recommendations to propel clean energy initiatives forward.
Specific responsibilities will include:
Providing expert guidance to clients to develop operating concepts, operations models, and governance models.
Developing and overseeing budget planning initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives while maximizing financial efficiency and sustainability.
Designing and documenting processes and internal controls.
Training and coaching clients on new processes and controls.
Leading risk assessments.
Developing business processes improvements to enhance existing programs.
Identifying and proactively addressing client needs by presenting potential solutions to challenges or issues.
Facilitating client discussions and meetings.
Effectively and concisely communicating and presenting information to clients and leadership.
Developing agendas, meeting materials, and talking points in preparation for meetings.
Developing high-quality presentations that effectively communicate key objectives and facilitate discussion across multiple stakeholders.
Developing and ensuring quality deliverables.
Participating in business development activities.
General project/task management.
Manage stakeholder feedback.
What You Will Need:
3 years of experience.
Previous experience developing organizational strategy and processes.
Risk assessment experience.
Ability to quickly understand ongoing processes to develop and implement process improvements.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into tangible documents and/or deliverables.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Ability to identify and address client needs.
Advanced proficiency in the full Microsoft Suite, including MS Teams, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Demonstrated critical thinking skills.
Experience with facilitation and consensus building.
Proven ability to work independently and collaborate with others.
Ability to organize, perform, and track multiple tasks accurately in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Familiarity with the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, green banks, or previous work in sustainability, clean energy, and decarbonization strategy development.
Project management experience.
- Project design and implementation experience.
Prior experience performing business development actions.
Prior experience in areas of risk management or project management in federal government or non-profit organizations.
The annual salary range for this position is $94,900.00-$142,300.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
